It is that problem which there is each creative person and each director: whether it is necessary to spend big enough money for making a site with good beautiful design?

In search of pros and cons I have searched all Internet and have found a lot of the various information on this subject: from not so clear “the site” to “the Main thing What for is necessary: do not do a site from …“. By the way, it too argument, but not so in detail considered (further I will show why it is correct argument).

Actually, all found arguments all the same have not convinced me of necessity to put up money in design. And then I have decided to think itself over this question.

 How to find the decision? To begin with it is necessary to understand, and what for the site, actually, becomes? Perhaps, even, a site - means of sale of any goods is unique.

 The only thing that it is necessary to make means is to define, whether sells my site the goods in current poor design, and to compare it to a variant of good design. If the good design on all indicators is better, I will put up money in design.

 What designates “a site sells”? It means, that it convinces the visitor the kind and the maintenance to buy the goods. A point.

 How to understand, what of variants, with design or without, convinces the visitor? It can be made, having put itself to the place of the visitor, having stayed some time in its "skin".

 All of us in a life often enough we face a similar situation. You see the announcement in the newspaper or a leaflet and speak: "fraud". How you define it? First of all on appearance of a leaflet, and then to that in it is written and as it is written.

 Let's present a hypothetical situation when you have decided to buy the car. The car costs expensively enough. To lose $17 - $30 000 - inadmissible luxury even for the provided person.

 Before you the leaflet lays. You take it in hands and feel bad quality of obviously cheap paper, not the colour economical press, low-standard registration. What impression is created at you at subconscious level still BEFORE you have read the leaflet text? Guess from three times? I think, you even to read not begin this leaflet!

And any arguments that “the firm has opened recently also colour leaflets for us inadmissible luxury” not прокатят. Just this firm HAS missed $30 000!

Whether it is necessary to say that be this leaflet qualitative and beautiful, the probability of your contact to firm would increase in tens times.

 There is no money for design? Variants are always. It is possible even to try to make good design free of charge. Wish to learn as?

My recommendation: until your product is not ready (for example while you have not let out the first version of the program), it is possible to use simple design, or in general it not to use. The primary goal at this stage - to index a site searchers and to increase citing. As soon as the product will be ready and time it will come to sell - do good design and do not deliberate!
